Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, access to the CCAP laboratory is limited to essential maintenance activities. We can still accept orders and strain deposits, but there may be delays to shipping. CCAP is available as usual by email for enquiries and support. Contact us at ccap@sams.ac.uk

Transnational and Remote Access

The 5th ASSEMBLE+ call for Transnational Access (TA) has now closed, applications between now and 9th February 2020 will be evaluated for the next round of access (the 6th call), see the information page for details and to read the success stories of researchers who have used the Transnational Access in previous calls. Researchers from outside the UK can request access to CCAP, and to SAMS' aquarium facilities, licensed seaweed farm, analytical laboratories and more. UK researchers can apply to visit the other associated sites.

Why choose to visit SAMS?

Remote Access

ASSEMBLE+ can also be used to acquire free Remote Access (RA) to algal and protozoan strains from CCAP or the Roscoff Culture Collection (where the home institution of the project leader is situated in a country outside of the UK or France respectively). To access RA the application process is the same as for TA: www.assembleplus.eu/access/how-to-apply

Contact CCAP for any further information.
