The AlgiNet database is now online, containing details of microalgal cultures from sixteen collections across Europe.  The data is fully searchable and there is full contact information for each Culture Collection.  The database was developed as part of AlgiNet, an EU funded project involving several members of CCAP staff.  Our objective was to collate as much information as possible on European phycological resources, and provide a 'one stop shop' for users and potential users of algal cultures.  As well as the online catalogue there is a page of links to additional algal resources available on-line.

It is hoped that the database will be maintained and updated regularly.  If you wish to have data from your Europe-based microalgal (or macroalgal) culture collection added to the database, or a link to your collection website, please contact us at ccap@sams.ac.uk.
